Progo at Imperial College Summer Show
As part of the Innovation Design Engineering Summer Show at Imperial College London and The Royal College of Art, Progo was showcased under the compelling theme of "Human Rhythms" - exploring how technology can synchronise with our natural movement patterns to enhance athletic or overall performance.
Hands-On Experience with Our MVP
For the first time, visitors had the opportunity to test our MVP hardware device firsthand. The live demonstrations allowed attendees to experience how Progo captures and responds to human movement rhythms, providing real-time feedback and adaptive coaching during strength training exercises.
What Visitors Experienced
- Interactive Hardware Testing: Direct interaction with our MVP device during live workout demonstrations.
- Real-Time Movement Analysis: Immediate feedback on form and technique through our innovative sensor technology.
- Adaptive Training Response: Witnessing how the system adjusts to individual movement patterns and performance.
- Human-Centred Design: Understanding how technology can work harmoniously with natural human rhythms.
The Human Rhythms Connection
Our placement within the Human Rhythms theme perfectly captured Progo's core philosophy: technology should adapt to humans, not the other way around. Every individual has unique movement patterns, recovery rates, and strength progression rhythms - our system learns and evolves with these natural variations.
"The concept of Human Rhythms really resonated with what we're building. Fitness technology often forces people into rigid programmes, but Progo respects and works
with each person's unique physical rhythms."

Exhibition Impact
The Summer Show provided invaluable insights from students, academics, and industry professionals. The hands-on testing revealed how intuitive our hardware interface is, while discussions highlighted the genuine need for adaptive fitness technology that understands human variability.
Looking Forward
The positive reception at the Summer Show reinforces our mission to create technology that harmonises with human rhythms rather than disrupting them. The feedback from live hardware testing is now informing our next development phase as we work towards bringing Progo to fitness enthusiasts everywhere.
Thank you to Imperial College London, The Royal College of Art, and all who participated in testing our MVP. Your insights are shaping the future of adaptive strength training.
